Computer Diagnostics

Pinpoint the real problem — not a parts-cannon guess.

What we do

Modern vehicles are run by dozens of computers and sensors. When something goes wrong, your car stores a trouble code — but a code is a starting point, not a diagnosis. Reading it correctly is the difference between fixing the actual problem and throwing parts at it.

We use up-to-date scan technology to read your vehicle's computer, then combine that data with hands-on testing to find the true root cause. You get a clear explanation and a fair quote before any repair work begins.

What's included

  • Full scan of engine, transmission, ABS, and body modules
  • Reading and interpreting trouble codes (not just clearing them)
  • Live sensor data and component testing
  • Electrical and wiring fault diagnosis
  • A plain-language explanation and honest repair quote

Questions

Computer Diagnostics FAQs

Isn't a diagnostic just plugging in a code reader?

That's only the first step. The code points to a system, but proper diagnosis means testing the parts in that system to find the actual fault. That's why two shops can read the same code and one fixes it the first time while the other keeps replacing parts.

Why did the parts store give me a free code but you charge for diagnostics?

A parts store reads the code and hopes you buy the matching part. Our diagnostic time is spent confirming the true cause so you don't pay for parts you don't need — which usually saves money overall.

Will you tell me what it'll cost before fixing it?

Yes. Once we've diagnosed the problem we explain it and give you a fair quote up front. Nothing gets repaired without your okay.
